About the role - you will:
- Administer site Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and procedures to ensure compliance with both regulations and Corporate/Site Standard Operating Procedures
- Conduct internal audits of compliance to regulatory requirements and company policies
- Interact and collaborate with various site departments to continuously integrate EHS within the organization
- Work to develop a proficiency in various Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) program
- Administer the site Industrial Hygiene program including but not limited to: all aspects of industrial hygiene planning, maintenance and sampling, radiation safety, laser safety, chemical review and approval, hearing conservation, and respiratory protection management.
- Oversee the site Emergency Response Program, including recruitment, training, planning, drills and response
- Assist the site Ergonomics Program, both office and lab
- Participate in the development, implementation, and management of site Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) training
- Conduct incident investigation to determine root cause while recommending corrective and preventative actions
- Review new processes and process modifications for EHS impacts
- Prepare for and participate in Corporate and Regulatory Audits
- Provide consistent communication of Health and Safety expectations to continually increase personnel knowledge and performance
- Monitor air emissions, hazardous and solid waste generation, wastewater, and chemical usage for waste minimization and regulatory tracking
- Work to ensure contractor safety requirements are met.
- Assist in implementation and roll-out of new Global EHS projects, programs and initiatives.
- Oversee and/or participate in cross-functional site and or multi-site projects such as new construction, introduction of new equipment or processes, or special ad-hoc projects and committees as required.

Your experience includes:
- Experience and working knowledge of EHS regulations
- Excellent organization, communication, and computer skills (Microsoft Office applications) with a strong attention to detail in all aspects
- Ability to respond to calls for 24/7 emergencies, when needed
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience

The estimated base salary range for this position is $ 73,070.40 - $94,993.60. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
