15 Position Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Program/Project Manager who will support the evolution of fleet at CPS Energy. This role will lead the specification process to ensure best unit is selected for a business area through evaluation of all but not limited to the following factors: cost, functionality, safety, and the environment. This role will work with employees across the organization and ensure fleet procurement contracts are developed and properly maintained. They will lead programs that are essential in daily operations and support decommissioning of vehicles that have reached their replacement point through evaluation of data and business input. Ensure budgetary requirements are met from a capitalization standpoint through partnerships with Property & Plant Accounting as well as working within the Fiscal Year constraints for recognizing costs when incurred. This position will focus on tactical aspects of projects through the evaluation of job costs, productivity improvement and process efficiency associated with work performed. Communicate effectively with all levels of the CPS Energy organization. Participate in strategic team efforts and the development of departmental goals and objectives. Management of project deliverables, including satisfaction of scope requirements, cost/budget adherence, schedule management, risk evaluation and mitigation, and quality management. Performs and/or maintains other administrative changes to formal/official material documentation and ensures compliance with regulatory agencies by creating and maintaining databases, documenting regulatory events, preparing required reports and assisting with regulatory inquiries and audits. Manage all phases of a project following established methodology with a considerable amount of autonomy.
Previous working experience with responsibility to corporate initiatives, employee programs, corporate affairs, project management, or a related role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Package, including word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software, electronic mail and scheduling. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or related field from an accredited university or relevant work experience can be substituted in lieu of degree. Required Certifications Working Environment
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. Requires use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator. Employee may potentially be exposed to outdoor weather, wet or humid conditions, noisy and dusty environment.
Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events. After hours and weekend work is required on an occasional basis. Physical Demands
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary, walking and standing are required only occasionally, and if all other sedentary criteria are met.
