18 Position Summary
Ensures that Units are operated safely, efficiently and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures/Requirements while maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel. Interacts daily with Energy Market Operations to review unit operating status and schedule maintenance outages that minimize generation and financial impact to the system. Reviews the status of units daily with the Plant Director and Maintenance Manager to evaluate outstanding issues that need repair for proper unit operation and safety. Provides supervision to Operations personnel to ensure Operation issues are addressed and Standard Operators procedures are followed. Monitors Unit and Environmental parameters to ensure compliance. Minimum Skills Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Experience in Power Plant Operations.
Experience leading cross-functional teams, people, and projects in a matrixed organization.
Ability to work Microsoft Office skills: PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization.
Effectively identify process control deficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
Manage all phases of an project following established methodology with a considerable amount of autotomy.
Knowledge of Environmental and Regulatory requirements.
Experience in understanding of Environmental and Regulatory. Preferred Qualifications

Work is performed indoors. Operating computer, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, repetitive motion. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator.
Employee may potentially be exposed to hazardous chemicals, wet or humid conditions, outdoor weather, noisy and dusty environment.
Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business related events. After hours work may be required. Physical Demands
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
