Harkcon, Inc. has need of a Surface Warfare Analyst to support a multi-year project with the U.S. Navy. You must be a former U.S. Navy Officer with prior Bridge Watchstanding experience. Required Qualifications: Former Surface Warfare Officer (SWO), Limited Duty Officer (LDO) or Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) with a minimum of 10 years US Navy Active-duty experience Must have Combat Systems experience related to Aegis Combat and Weapons Systems or Ship Self Defense System (SSDS), and Shipboard Navigation Systems Must have experience on Surface Combatant Ships to include a deployment in support of battle group operations Must possess an Officer of the Deck (OOD) qualification Bachelor's degree from an accredited academic institution Must be a U.S. Citizen Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance (interim accepted) Desired, but not required, Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in any of the following areas: Complete a tour of duty on a CVN or Amphib Class Surface Ship Completion of ship deployment in support of battle group operations Test and Evaluation experience Tactics development and evaluation Tactical Action Officer (TAO) qualification Navy Instructor/Master Training Specialist (MTS) Specialty fleet systems qualifications Work will be performed at a combination of locations: onsite at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (Dahlgren, VA), and our teaming partner's office (Dahlgren, VA), and telework.
