Description

POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for support of all activities associated with global commodities and services. This
position will provide full support to the SVP - Strategic Sourcing in compiling data, help in making presentation &
in pulling ad hoc data requests.

Analysis - 40%



  • Conduct general spend analysis on demand for products and services
  • Conduct targeted spend analysis on categories, business units, equipment, geographies, and or suppliers
  • Execute Monthly Dashboards that are accurate and meaningful
  • Determine financial and operational impact of supplier and/or product standardization
  • Make recommendations regarding transactional sourcing strategies to maximize cost savings
  • Prepare reports to support recommended strategies and program development


Sourcing Programs & Strategies - 30%



  • Collaborate with Category Managers to develop and maintain category and/or supplier specific sourcing
    strategies to support contractual and non-contractual relationships
  • Based on results of spend analysis, drive cost savings and supplier consolidation by leading and executing
    appropriate RFx processes
  • Prepare reports showing effectiveness of strategies and programs
  • Provide recommendations on potential process improvements
  • Large contributor to ensure data accuracy in procurement systems


Executive Presentation and Collaboration - 20%



  • Work with Indirect Procurement Management and Operational leadership to develop programs and
    relationships which maximize the usage of sourcing strategies
  • Develop presentations to be shared with Executive leadership on monthly metrics and strategic initiatives
  • Work collectively with Finance to ensure our budgeting processes and savings initiatives are tracked to
    the bottom line


Contracts & Agreements - 10%



  • Assist Category Managers with contracts/agreements as necessary; analyze business requirements and
    ensure they are covered in contract
  • Provide recommendations on opportunities to develop comprehensive global contracts/agreements with
    service level agreements (SLAs)
