In the role of Water Engineering Intern, we will:

  • Offer real-world experience on exciting water and wastewater projects
  • Connect you with company leaders, technical experts and young professionals across HDR
  • Guide you in applying standard engineering techniques, procedures and best practices
  • Help you become familiar with the engineering industry via conferences and workshops
  • Count on you to collaborate with a team of designers, engineers, and project managers
  • Work closely with you to provide mentorship and navigate your professional interests
  • Attend site visits for ongoing projects under the supervision of a professional
  • Perform other duties as needed


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry

Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
