***This position is located in our SICK, Bloomington MN Production facility. The person will be in office Monday through Friday.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Our base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The starting base salary range for this position is listed below. Actual starting salary will be based on a variety of factors including experience, skill set, education, performance, license/certifications, business needs, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Starting Base Annual Salary Range:

$74,550 - $112,750

Bonus Eligibility:

This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on a combination of company and individual performance.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position has primary responsibility for monitoring and facilitating the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure profitable, customer success. Coordinates with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, logistics and other functions domestically and globally to optimize and align the supply and logistics chain. Identifies bottlenecks or problem areas and escalates or proposes solutions. Works with internal and external suppliers to resolve issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide oversight on daily/weekly/monthly key performance indicators (KPI), communicate overall trends and assisting in driving improvements.
  • Execute and leverage reporting to communicate essential information to the subsidiaries and distribute operational information to the team.
  • Monitor and provide reporting pertaining to international trade on a weekly basis.
  • Analyze and assess current world trade environment for potential risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure all orders being serviced by the RFC have correct classification data to be execute through the supply chain.
  • Provide requested compliance documents and reports to government agencies when applicable.
  • Work closely with customs authorities and contracted brokers during imports and exports.
  • Build strong relationships with internal customers through prompt replies to inquiries, continuous communication and providing outstanding customer service overall.
  • Assist in maximizing customer success for their worldwide projects.
  • Collaborate with global teams within other SICK Sales Units (SSU) and take lead when assigned.
  • Act as a key team member of global supply chain management projects.
  • This position is occasionally directed in several aspects of the work while gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
  • Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • Associates Degree required, Bachelor's Degree in relevant field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of business experience preferably in logistics, supply chain, or international trade.

Other Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal required.
  • Proven attention to detail.
  • Experience training others.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet applications.
  • Experience with government ACE portal, as well as SAP and GTS ERP systems preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to work alternative schedules including weekend, and on-call hours as needed.
  • Legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work in a general office environment.
