Job Description
Experienced Due Diligence Project Manager needed in the Chicago area. Share your experience with our team as we develop real and actionable solutions for our clients.

Conducting Property and Facility Condition Assessments are the main task for this position. Site visits usually require overnight travel. Looking for a professional who can provide quality, detailed reporting for our clients while working both with a team and individually to complete projects. Assessments cover the built structures and cash reserve tables for upcoming repairs to be included in the reporting. Ability to use Microsoft Office 365 required and
Quire software is a plus.

General Responsibilities:

Diagnose and develop repair/restoration solutions for the built environment. This includes all major components and systems of buildings and other infrastructure. Projects are primarily facility and property condition assessments and may include evaluations and test building systems. Assessment techniques include visual examination, document review and take-offs, and estimation of capital projects. Some projects may include non-destructive testing, instrumentation and load testing, laboratory testing, and destructive examinations. Client deliverables range from reports of findings and recommendations to development of restoration design documents and construction oversight/administration.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Career level Facilities professional responsible for independently managing and executing routine projects.
  • Plans, schedules, conducts and/or coordinates facility and property assessments, inspections, data collection and testing.
  • Assists in preparation of client proposals, cost estimates, as well as routine and complex client deliverables.
  • Serves as an advisor to junior-level project team members.
  • Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
  • Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in building science or related building field and 5-7 years' experience in facility assessment. Or, in lieu of a degree, 9-11 years' related experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook and SharePoint. Must have an ability to learn other software systems.
  • Experience using tablets and other electronic mobile devices and be able to work remote from home as well as while traveling.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history
  • Travel: ability to travel an anticipated 50% of the time.
This position has been categorized as a "Remote Only" position. "Remote Only" employees do not have a designated workspace at an office, and typically work from home or another location.

The national standard salary range for this position is $
58600 -$82000 . The base range may be adjusted based on the specific qualifications and experience of the applicant.
