As a Pit Loader Operator, you will operate a large loader to load haul trucks with stone that is then transported to the crusher. Preference will be given to candidates with experience operating heavy equipment, such as loaders. Compensation $23.00 - $25.00 per hour Main Responsibilities Promote safe work practices and an excellent safety environment Responsible for safe and efficient operation of all equipment Complete daily inspections and maintenance checklist Participate in pre-shift safety huddles Responsible to follow all onsite MSHA and environmental requirements Perform routine maintenance and various equipment repairs as needed Responsible for reporting incidents and accidents to supervisors Skills Ability to operate a large loader safely and efficiently Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced employees Physical Requirements Able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl Able to work in wet and/or dry conditions and extreme heat and cold Benefits Our company is not only a phenomenal place to work, but we also have outstanding benefits, such as: Comprehensive health, dental, vision 401k match Life insurance, AD&D Teladoc Health advocate, and many more!
