Community Practice Job Description
To independently assess, diagnose, counsel and treat clients, including University students, employees, and patients. Interview, assess, and provide individual counseling to clients who are experiencing personal, social, educational, orvocational problems. Evaluate treatment of clients and modify treatment based on specific individual's evaluation. Facilitate group therapy sessions for students with personal problems, educational problems, habit disorders, and other essential issues. Research, design and develop educational materials relating to specific concerns about psychological health related problems. May complete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents. Shift
Monday - Friday Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in social work, mental health nursing, counseling education, psychology, or related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities can be acquired. Anticipated Hiring Range
