Position Highlights |
The School of Animal Comparative Biomedical Sciences seeks applicants for a STEM Assistant. The STEM Assistant will assist in teaching various STEM projects. They will also provide support to the counties where the projects are being taught. This position may require traveling to Cooperative Extension sites throughout the state of Arizona.

Duties & Responsibilities |
- Assist with teaching the various STEM projects including: Underwater Robotics, Lego Robotics, Cross Reality, Greenhouse SEED, Tech Changemakers, Drone, Rocket Launching, Space Mission Command, STEM and Ag Ambassador, STEM Challenge, and Ag Innovators.
- Assist with website development/management and curriculum development/management.
- Assist with marketing efforts such as developing flyers for events.
- Order supplies and provide any support needed at sites where STEM projects are occurring.

Minimum Qualifications |
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience with teaching STEM projects.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims.
