Company DescriptionJob Description

We're looking for a Strategic Operations Analyst to join Procore's Corporate Strategy & Operations team. In this high impact role, you will be a true business collaborator for key initiatives and problems in the company, from strategy to execution.

As a Strategic Operations Analyst, you'll apply your operating knowledge, strategic mindset, and problem-solving skills to oversee the effective implementation of Procore's most critical strategic initiatives and plans. This role is pivotal in translating our strategic goals into actionable tasks and ensuring their successful execution. Self-direction, understanding of matrixed organizations (and how to get things done within them), and strong communication are key to success in this role.

This position reports to our Strategic Operations Director with exposure to our executives and senior leaders across the organization. The position can be based in a remote U.S. location. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with the Corporate Strategy team to validate our long-term strategy, helping to translate opportunity assessment into a plan of attack, build a business case for funding, persuade / align cross-functional teams to the plan, and own the outcomes regardless of reporting lines.

  • For our most complex, highest-priority transformational initiatives, assist in project management of cross-functional projects and assist in the end-to-end, cross-functional execution.

  • Act independently as the business owner on several concurrent initiatives as well as independently looking for areas of opportunity across the business with collaboration from the Director.

  • Help develop, maintain, and advance our Strategic Operating framework, including how we report progress and outcomes of strategic projects up to executives as well as across the business.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience of 3-5 years in strategic execution/operations/implementation/transformation, corporate strategy, or an operational role with heavy responsibility for strategic projects or cross-functional, matrixed execution.

  • A self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and the ability to derive actionable, measurable insights and strategies from open-ended questions

  • Proven track record of successfully executing complex strategic projects, ideally with experience working with Go-to-Market, Product/Engineering, Finance, and Operations.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with various stakeholders across levels of seniority, different functions, etc.

  • Ability to influence and align with high level stakeholders to ensure business alignment and change is successfully embedded within the business.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills. Comfort with ambiguity and proactivity is a must.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
