Description
As Principal UX/UI Manager, you bring empathy for users, strategic vision and hands-on leadership to uncover opportunities, and design simple and delightful experiences that meet the needs of consumers, partners and customers, achieve business goals and fulfill Medica's mission to better our member's lives with care in the moments that matter. This position is critical to driving the evolution of Medica's public and authenticated digital experiences as well as our native app with a strong emphasis in both UX and user interface (UI) design, ensuring the integration of modern design trends and intuitive interfaces. This role will oversee product designers and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders and digital product teams to optimize self-service capabilities, enhance personalization, and bring our brand, Mission and Purpose to life, helping Medica realize the full value of our digital investment. This role also ensures that work is implemented successfully, optimized long term and applied more broadly across other audiences, experiences and platforms. The ideal candidate is a champion of both UX strategy and UI design, with a portfolio showcasing impactful digital solutions. This position can be office based, Hub, or a Remote role. To be eligible for consideration, candidates must have a primary home address located within any state where Medica is registered as an employer - AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, KY, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OK, SD, TN, TX, VA, WI. The full salary range for this position is $111,200 - $190,600. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
