5-D Systems, a KRATOS Company, is seeking a highly motivated candidate in support of our customer located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, who will serve as an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Operating Systems Maintenance (OSM) Product Owner (PO). The position will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office.

Duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Reviewing/understanding Systems Engineering concepts/designs/algorithms
• Working with Program Management to set priorities for new capabilities and defects and providing guidance to the OSM team for each Program Increment (PI) and Sprint
• Supporting the team in the development of acceptance criteria for OSM tasks and stories, as well as responsibility for the verification of work performed by the OSM team
• Working with the Cyber team to maintain a suitable cyber posture for deployed OS products
• Technical briefings, demonstrations, and advisement to leadership
• Reporting on status; recommended courses of actions, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.

• US Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance or higher
• A bacheloris degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics
• Minimum of 7 years of combined Government/DoD experience in performing the responsibilities above
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Toolset
• The ability to imove out and champion your ideas, architectures, designs, enthusiasm; independent critical thinking
• A team attitude

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS
• Experience in JIRA/Confluence
• Security + and Linux experience
• Agilist Certification
