Position Overview: As a Teller or Universal Banker I, you'll be the face of our branch, offering a full range of banking services to customers. You'll be responsible for processing financial transactions, helping clients open new accounts, and guiding them on the best products for their needs. You'll also help grow customer relationships, originate consumer and small business loans, and have the chance to explore exciting opportunities in financial services-if you're properly licensed. Key Responsibilities: Be the first point of contact for customers, offering a variety of financial services with a smile! Process customer transactions with accuracy and efficiency. Engage in sales activities to help customers enhance their banking relationships and discover new products. Help clients with consumer and small business loans, providing tailored advice based on their needs. Support our team in creating a fun and productive work environment! What You Need to Succeed: Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent (required). For Teller: Previous experience in customer service, cash handling, or sales is a plus! Previous experience in a financial institution is a bonus. For Universal Banker I: At least two years of customer service and/or sales experience in a goal-oriented environment. Experience in the financial industry is preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Universal Banker I: State of Alaska Life Insurance License, FINRA Series 65 or 66 is a plus. Some positions may require registry with the National Mortgage Loan Licensing Registry and passing a background check. Skills & Qualities: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions. Outgoing personality with a passion for sales and building relationships. Detail-oriented and a multi-tasking pro who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Analytical thinker, capable of resolving complex problems and exceeding customer expectations. Basic to intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite, and the ability to operate office equipment (printer, fax, etc.). Why Join Us?
