Location:CTONADAMSONSQ Southwire Job Description The product specialist is responsible for supporting daily business functions around Energy Utility wire to ensure success of the product(s) within the company and market. The specialist will collaborate with both internal and external team members across multiple business areas, regions, agents, distributors and contractors to promote profitability, serviceability and innovation in building wire products. Must function with minimal direct supervision in a team environment in order to meet or exceed individual, team, and company goals and objectives. Description of Duties and Responsibilities Provide assistance to the Product Manager with support of daily business activities to drive success of Utility products Manage and coordinate daily routines in support of the overall lifecycle of Utility products including but not limited to: product training, inventory and order management, production planning, demand forecasting, driving sales, and new business development Maintain market lead-time requirements and provide guidance on capacity planning Coordinate with Master Data Management, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales, Marketing, Technical Support and other functional areas throughout the company in support of the product lines Develop detailed reports in SAP and Business Intelligence to support the utility wire product team's planning and decision making Be an expert with respect to energy utility wire products and competition.
