Essential Job Duties	Responsible for conducting and supporting research into suppressed travel within the Triangle region of North Carolina. The term suppressed travel refers to travel that is unrealized due to transportation-related social exclusion and associated mobility barriers. Responsibilities Include: * Meeting regularly with the research team. * Processing household travel survey data. * Organizing and processing geospatial data. * Writing code to run statistical and machine learning models. * Documenting and presenting methods and results.

Minimum Experience/Education	Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
Department Required Skills	Basic familiarity and prior experience with the R programming language. Experience with regression analysis and machine learning methods.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education	Experience working with travel survey data. Experience working with GIS and geospatial data. Familiarity with data ethics and management best practices. Experience with transportation accessibility analysis and modeling. Familiarity with research on mobility barriers or transportation-related social exclusion.
