Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

What work will you perform?

The Settlement Oversight Business Administrator is responsible for maintaining the Business Administration side of the TMS ODS Rules Engine Logic. This position is responsible for review and audit of Settlement Internal Control reports, including Policy IQ and Operational reporting, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.

Essential Responsibilities:



  • Be the business administrator for the ODS engine, including overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the system that ensures TMS (Transportation Management System) agents adhere to corporate standards and automates key functions.
  • Consistently monitor 'TMS Add BT' email inbox notifications from the Agent Preferences application to ensure timely response to agent requests.
  • Create CAST worksheet and send to appropriate departments for review in a timely manner.
  • Process bulk customer upload requests from Agents when multiple customer updates are needed.
  • Identify accounts eligible for adding to the TMS from CAST and weekly/monthly Owner Agency Activity reports and process them accordingly.
  • Complete monthly and weekly reports for use in different weekly TEAMS meetings with several departments.
  • Coordinate and process onboarding of accounts into the TMS and ensure that requests are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Review accessorial usage and margin on freight bills for discrepancies.
  • Audit and review entries from other departments to ensure accurate account set-up.
  • Crosstrain and cover when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Minimum Experience and Education:



  • High School diploma or (GED)
  • One year of experience in a corporate environment


Preferred Experience and Education:



  • Associate's degree in related field


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Ability to pull and edit files from the IBMi to create reports
  • Knowledge of creating queries
  • Ability to create formulas, graphs, vlookup and pivot tables within Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be able to perform quality work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Ability to create procedures as needed
  • Capacity to interpret, retain, and relay technical information at a high level
