Description

The salary and level for this position will be determined after the interview and based on related experience and skills.

Hours for this position are: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Role

Focuses on implementing new products and services, maintaining the core banking system, and executing crucial maintenance tasks. Responsibilities encompass ensuring the smooth integration of new products and services, overseeing the core banking system's functionality, and carrying out essential maintenance. Expertise and a proactive approach contribute significantly to the efficiency of the credit union's technological infrastructure, enhancing both member and employee experiences.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities



  • Exemplifies the core values of CAMPUS while supporting our strategic priorities for members, employees, and community. Maintains the highest standard of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Collaborates with the Business Systems Administrator 3 to operate and maintain the core banking system, ensuring its optimal performance and reliability
  • Aids in seamlessly implementing updates for the core banking system, including service packs. Conducts thorough testing of updates to guarantee a smooth transition into the live environment and minimize potential disruptions
  • Plays an active role in implementing new products and services, working closely with relevant teams to ensure successful integration and deployment
  • Provides expert problem-solving support, including diagnosis and application assistance, to employees utilizing our corporate helpdesk software, fostering seamless workflow operations
  • Coordinates updating initiatives involving multiple departments, overseeing all aspects from scheduling to meeting agendas and facilitation, and taking charge of ensuring timely and productive meetings that foster collaboration and drive progress toward successful implementation
  • Executes system maintenance tasks, including after-hours work, when necessary, to mitigate potential risks and ensure uninterrupted operations, upholding the stability and security of our technological environment
  • Executes user maintenance tasks, such as promptly and accurately adding and deleting accounts, password resets, etc., contributing to a smooth user experience and streamlined access management
  • Participates in the weekly (daily and nightly) on-call rotation, demonstrating readiness to address any emergent technical issues and uphold operational continuity around the clock
  • Ensures employees comply with computer-related security policies


Qualifications

Education



  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration OR
  • A combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily may be substituted



Experience



  • 2 - 4 years of similar or related experience
  • 2 years of Credit Union experience developing an understanding of operations, policies, and objectives
