The Information Services Specialist I accepts, prioritizes, identifies, verifies, images and indexes, in a timely and accurate manner, all student documents received through external and internal mail for all Enrollment Management departments using University Admission, Records and Financial Aid guidelines. |
Minimum Education and Experience |
High school diploma or equivalent and three years of work experience. |
Preferred Education and Experience |
Associate's degree and three years of work experience. |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
- Accept, sort, prioritize, identify, verify, and batch all prospective and current student documents, including but not limited to applications, transcripts, and international certificates, received for all Enrollment Management departments, which includes the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, and Registrar.
- Image and index all documents, ensuring documents are readable in OnBase, by operating scanning equipment and identifying visually that information is being accurately scanned.
- Process electronic documents in several OnBase workflow queues.
- Participate in various training opportunities to stay current and improve knowledge base of various platforms and policies affecting document processing.
- Attend required meetings and participate in UT Dallas Enrollment Management events as assigned.
- Ensure a high level of integrity and ethical behavior in dealing with confidential information.
- Position may require overtime work during peak times of the year, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

- Requires the ability to perform repetitive keyboarding tasks frequently to constantly throughout the workday

Position requires:
- Demonstrated history of integrity and ethical behavior in working with confidential and sensitive information
- Willingness and ability to work required overtime hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, during peak periods throughout the year
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with ability to learn new software systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize information in a timely manner and multi-task
- Strong communication and active listening skills with the ability to receive and follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
- Proactive approach to identifying potential issues and problems
Remote Work Notice
A
hybrid work schedule may be available, subject to business needs and departmental approval.
Employee must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice.
Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required, and use of personal computer, internet, and other standard equipment may be required. Remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be cancelled.
