Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic, engaging, and skilled Project Manager & Training Facilitator to join our Leadership Development team. This role is key to enhancing organizational performance by managing mid-size to large-scale leadership initiatives and delivering impactful training programs. The Project Manager function involves coordinating with various departments, managing program process and resources, and ensuring that program initiatives align with the company's strategic goals. The Training Facilitator function will focus on improving leadership skills, bridging knowledge gaps, and supporting leadership development, contributing to the company's overall success and efficiency. The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering growth and development, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in both in-person and virtual training environments. Responsibilities include delivering and evaluating effective training programs that empower employees and align with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Project Management
- Leads mid-size to large scale leadership initiatives through the program design lifecycle, including scoping, research and analysis, design, development, and launch.
- Provides clear timelines through all phases, communicates with key partners, and selects appropriate measures for successful implementation.
- Demonstrates change management skills, recognizing points of change and improving adoption of change.
- Designs and conducts need assessments, focus groups, or employee interviews with the goal of identifying areas for improvement and professional development.
- Manages program implementation to address performance gaps; monitors program progress to completion and uses data to create reports and relay results.
Training Delivery
- Facilitate interactive training sessions, workshops, and orientations in person and via virtual platforms.
- Use a variety of instructional methods to engage participants, enhance knowledge retention and foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment.
- Adapt training approaches to meet the needs of different audiences and learning preferences.
- Ability to work independently and in groups with minimal supervision.
Collaboration & Support
- Work directly with the National Talent Development Manager to create and refine post-training resources and materials that fosters growth and skill enhancement.
- Serve as a resource coach for leaders, answering questions and providing ongoing support post-training.
- Work directly with the National Talent Development Manager to identify opportunities to include GMR specific operational concepts in existing training program.
- Creating Training Materials: Develop comprehensive training content, resources, and materials in alignment with organizational goals.
Evaluation & Improvement
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics ensuring continuous improvement and provide actionable insights.
- Continuously improve training materials and methodologies based on evaluations and emerging trends.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and incorporate them into training and support initiatives.
Administrative Tasks
- Schedule and coordinate training sessions, ensuring smooth execution.
- Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, performance assessments, and feedback.
- Manage training tools, resources, and technologies efficiently.
Other Duties
- Up to 50% travel may be required.
Qualifications: Education & Industry Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Computer Science, Education or a related field (or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience).
- Seven (7) years of related experience.
- Proven experience managing mid and large-scale projects for a large organization.
- Proven experience as a training facilitator, corporate trainer, or similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in working with adult learning principles, experiential learning, and instructional design.
- Advance MS Excel skills to include, data analysis, automation, spreadsheet models, data validation, index match, and conditional formatting.
- Proficient skills in MS Office Suite, Workday, and LMS programs (i.e. Cornerstone).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
- Proficiency in creating detailed reports and visualizations to present findings to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Project Management Professional certificate preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience using virtual training methods and e-learning platforms preferred.
