Langley Federal Credit Union is currently hiring for a Full Time Loan Servicing Representative to work on-site from our Oyster Point Bldg. located in Newport News, VA.

Job Summary:

Performs a wide range of consumer loan servicing job duties and requirements in accordance with regulations, Langley policies, and procedures. Completes tasks associated with vehicle title fulfillment, loan modifications for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining accurate credit reporting across all Langley product lines, and processing payments for members, CUSO partners, and third-party vendors.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:



  • Performs all title record fulfillment, perfection, and maintenance.
  • Research, processes, and resolves credit bureau reporting and disputes received via E-Oscar, email, calls, and cases.
  • Processes insurance claims for damages and total losses.
  • Posts timely and accurate loan payments, credit bureau disputes, and SCRA requests.
  • Efficiently receives and processes a high volume of incoming calls in a call center environment.
  • Makes outbound calls as necessary to follow up on member inquiries.
  • Processes loan payments, title maintenance, and insurance claims for damages and total losses for Langley's CUSO partner.
  • Ensures all CRM cases are responded to within required timeframe.
  • Performs file maintenance in loans in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Processes all loan modifications and deferments.
  • Performs research and administrative duties in response to requests to GAP and Warranty from internal and external sources.
  • Performs tracking and follow up for all Langley vehicle collateralized loans.


Qualifications:



  • Associate's degree, or two years of related experience, providing customer service in a high volume, fast paced atmosphere, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • A minimum of one year experience in business collateralized title processing and loan servicing required.
  • One-year Federal Credit Report Act credit bureau reporting and dispute resolution experience preferred.
