Visiting Cardiologist - Heart Failure

The University of Iowa Department of Internal Medicine Division ofCardiovascular Medicineis seeking a part-time physician with a clinical focus in advanced heart failure and expertise in the treatment of cardiomyopathy to participate in the patient care and teaching missions of UI Healthcare. This position will be in a visiting appointment in the rank of associate professor. This position will have 25% effort at UI Health Care. Duties will include outpatient clinic for heart failure patient management.

Education Required: Candidates must have an MD degree or equivalent and have completed anAccreditedCardiologyFellowship and an accredited advanced heart failure fellowship

Eligible for Certifications:

Board certified or board eligible in cardiovascular diseases and heart failure.

Required Qualifications:

Authorized to work in the U.S.

Desirable Qualifications:

Applicants with evidence of a strong commitment to clinical research and teaching are preferred
