The primary focus of the Branch Manager Western Region is to coach, oversee, and be knowledgeable of all operations performed within the branch. This position is responsible for leading growth initiatives in keys areas relating to member engagement, employee engagement, and key sales initiatives.


  • Knowledgeable of all functions performed by and all products and services offered by the Credit Union.
  • Monitor and lead the key metrics of the branch to insure organizational goals are met.
  • Maintain optimum staffing levels to insure a high quality of member service and department efficiency.
  • Encourage, lead and incorporate innovation by researching new products and services and initiating change.
  • Collaborate with others throughout the organization to facilitate relationships between the Credit Union and new/existing Business Partners.
  • Conduct departmental reviews on a periodic basis, identifying areas for improvement and implement changes when appropriate. Knowledgeable of all policies, procedures, laws and regulations affecting the operation of the department.
  • Maintain a general knowledge of policies, procedures, laws, and regulations affecting the credit union operation.
  • Collaborate with the other Branch Managers to facilitate effective and efficient operations of the branches. As such, possess a general knowledge of all branch functions in departments not directly supervised.
  • Direct and monitor the operations of the branch to insure department and organizational goals are met.
  • Assist members over the phone.
  • Provide on-going coaching to all team members that encourages personal, professional and career development. Clearly define expectations of all team members.
  • Interview and hire the most qualified applicant for position openings. Provide initial orientation and on-going support to team members on the mission, vision, values and leadership culture of the organization.
  • Plan and prepare for the future by being open minded, perceptive, and proactive. Make decisions that support the members, the department and the organization as a whole both financially and strategically.
