CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Controller to join our Infrastructure - Sector Finance Team at any of the following office locations: Atlanta, GA; Albany, NY; Boston, MA; Indianapolis, IN; Miami, FL; or Rochester; NY.



YOUR IMPACT

CHA's corporate support teams provide vital specialized services to our technical business lines and market teams including, financial, legal, marketing, business development, human resources, information technology and operational services. These teams may also support clients when their skills and expertise are required.

The Project Controller is a leader in the Project Financial Management team and plays critical roles in the successful management of team members and their administration of contracts throughout a project's lifecycle. The professional in this role will provide guidance and oversight to the team as well as work with Business, Sector and Company leadership and is seen as a subject matter expert in project financial management. This individual will be responsible for ensuring proper contract management, project compliance and audit support, as well as department reporting, monitoring, and improving KPI's.

REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of 10 years of Project Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis or similar activity required
  • Understanding of business systems, financial tracking and project management systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of revenue accounting and invoicing practices
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Extremely organized and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Effective supervisory, mentoring and ability to develop and train staff are essential to success.
  • Previous work experience in professional services or project-oriented field
  • Experience working in enterprise accounting systems. Deltek Vision or comparable is preferred.
  • Experience in a rapid-paced and high-volume environment


SALARY RANGE:

$80,000 - $96,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
