Overview:

We are looking for a highly adaptable DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment, with responsibilities that shift depending on the current phase of the development cycle. Right now, we are transitioning from penetration testing to production, and one of the biggest challenges ahead is migrating to the Raft Data Platform (RDP). As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to build, integrate, and enhance cloud-native applications while troubleshooting and securing mission-critical services. Our client understands that much of what we are doing is new, so you will have the freedom to conduct research spikes and implement solutions based on findings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Cybercom applications to streamline deployment and operational efficiency.
• Manage and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Collaborate with security teams to integrate automated security testing into the CI/CD pipeline, improving security posture and reducing vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges to ensure applications work seamlessly together.
• Implement hardening measures by reviewing scan results, addressing CVE findings, and ensuring applications meet stringent security requirements.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Helm charts, and Rego scripting to support deployment automation.
• Deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, ensuring compliance with DoD security standards and best practices.
• Support the migration to Raft Data Platform (RDP) by researching and implementing solutions to accommodate new architectural changes.
• Integrate Apache Superset with AWS S3 for real-time data ingestion and visualization, enabling seamless data flow for analytics.
• Work with GitLab and IronBank to ensure secure and compliant software delivery.

1. Strong experience with Terraform, GO, Rego scripting, Helm charts, and Docker.
2. Deep understanding of data flow architecture, from ingestion to final output.
3. Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues in distributed systems.
4. Experience with CI/CD tools and GitLab for version control and automation.
5. Familiarity with IronBank container security best practices.
6. Strong knowledge of cloud environments, particularly AWS, and experience deploying applications in a DoD-compliant setting.
7. Ability to conduct research spikes, document findings, and implement best practices in a rapidly evolving environment.

1. Experience with Raft Data Platform (RDP) or similar data migration projects.
2. Hands-on experience integrating security into DevOps workflows.
3. Prior experience in government or defense-related projects, particularly within Cybercom.
