Chevo is currently hiring a
Senior IT Program Manager-Federal Programs to join our expanding firm. This position will provide the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client's business and to become a trusted advisor. The ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to all facets of IT program/project management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide management consulting and administrative support services to support across the USDA DISC organization.
- Monitor and control multiple Performance Statement of Work (PWS) task areas including process improvement, financial management, human resources, acquisition support, and administrative support.
- Follow the processes to track, report, and regulate progress and performance on each task area.
- Administer and manage the Chevo contract to ensure fulfillment of all contract obligations and responsibilities.
- Plan, budget, monitor, and control the hours and costs throughout the duration of the contract and replan when necessary.
- Perform quality control on contract deliverables and submit deliverables on or before the due dates. Deliverables include a monthly invoice (labor hours expenditure and supplemental accounting code information) and a monthly status report (MSR) (status of task directives, schedules, deliverables, outstanding issues, and proposed resolution approaches and actions, and staffing report).
- Determine resource requirements for the contract, obtain needed resources, manage employee performance, and maintain employee staffing levels.
- Manage the cost and schedule and reach quality targets by utilizing the Chevo SDM process.
- Utilize a Microsoft Project Schedule to manage Deliverables and Milestone required to complete high-level tasks on the contract.
- Follow a Quality Control Plan (QCP) that details how quality is managed, and a Quality Assurance Surveillance (QASP) outlined by the agency contracts to attain Quality targets.
- Participate in and lead Business Development Activities, such as RFI and RFQ responses,
Required Qualifications:
- Experience providing federal Project Management consulting services.
- 8 years' professional experience in information systems or project management.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Capable of directing contractor personnel and interfacing with the Government and customers.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to present a polished, professional, and diplomatic image to clients.
- Able to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and others.
- Ability to pass client security clearance requirements.
- Advanced Microsoft Office 365 Word skills.
- Microsoft Office Excel skills.
- Microsoft Office 365 PowerPoint skills.
- Microsoft Teams and collaboration tools.
- Microsoft SharePoint.

SALARY RANGE: $100K-$125K
