Overview
Goldbelt Hawk designs, develops, and implements comprehensive solutions for problem spaces, including computer security, scalable architectures, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and network/data center operations. Specializing in local and enterprise-level incident response and forensic analysis, Hawk's personnel deliver threat analysis and reporting while implementing solutions based on mature planning and development practices. Summary: The Cyber Security Training Manager conducts research necessary to develop and/or revise training courses; prepares appropriate training materials, and/or conducts formal classroom courses and workshops. This role will ensure that personnel across the department are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect sensitive data, mitigate cyber risks, and comply with federal cybersecurity regulations.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Develops, plans, coordinates, and evaluates cyber training/education courses, methods, and techniques based on instructional needs.
- Works with Federal PM to develop cyberspace workforce plans, strategies, and guidance to support cyberspace workforce manpower, personnel, training and education requirements and to address changes to cyberspace policy, doctrine, materiel, force structure, and education and training requirements.
- Will utilize innovative methods to design and implement training that results in measurable effectiveness utilizing audio, visual, computer-based, web-based, or written media.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threats, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze training effectiveness and adjust programs accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in a related technical field 6 Years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience.
- Experience developing interactive training materials and e-learning content.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)
