Position Summary

This position offers an opportunity to be an integral member of a collaborative, high-performing team of staff. This position provides clerical support to the unit, including but not limited to answering telephone calls, handling medical records, and responding to patient, family, and staff requests. This is a great opportunity for those with customer service experience looking to get into the healthcare field. Together, the compassionate Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, CNAs, and Nursing Unit Secretaries work closely to support each other in meeting patients' needs and ensuring the highest standards of care are met. This role on R5 offers a 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM second shift schedule, 3 days per week. There is some flexibility on hours as well as days of the week worked.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education:High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • License/Certifications:Current BLS certification preferred or may be required based on location.
  • Experience:One year of hospital or health care setting preferred.
