MaineHealth Weight Management - Kennebunk is seeking a full-time Board-Certified obesity medicine physician to join an evolving practice. This position is a unique and exciting opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic and passionate group of existing providers in a busy multidisciplinary weight management program.

Successful candidates will work closely with an integrated team of surgeons, physicians, advanced practice providers, dietitians, and behavioral health clinicians to offer medical and surgical obesity treatment options, assist with dietary and culinary education, mental health treatment, fitness evaluation and regimen development.

This position offers:

Qualification:

  • MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine or an internal medicine subspecialty.
  • The ideal candidate will be board certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
  • Candidates not certified by the ABOM will be expected to obtain certification within 18 months of hire.
