Guardian Industries is looking for an Architectural Design Specialist to join our team!

As a member of a diverse Enablement Team, you will be responsible for collaborating with and supporting the Architectural Design Managers (ADM) to support architectural promotion in the North American region. This is a great ground floor opportunity to learn about the field of architecture, and how a world leader in innovative glass products sells into this space. This position is designed to prepare an individual to become a candidate for an ADM/outside sales role, but not a required career path.

This position will be supporting the Pacific, Mountain, and Central Time zones.

Our Team

You will work cross-functionally with multiple capabilities and computer platforms and will have responsibility for maintaining information and ensuring data accuracy. This role is 100% remote, with minimal travel to our North American Division headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan, or other meetings to collaborate or learn. What You Will Do
* Partner with Guardian's West region ADMs to support architectural promotion and accurate project pipeline data
* Partner with ADMs, Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) and other team members to follow up on projects from early design stage to bidding, having direct responsibility for monitoring and keeping projects up to date until fabricator is secured
* Maintain data integrity through updating contacts, company information, and project information in Salesforce
* Work collaboratively with our Sample Coordination Specialist to assist with ordering samples and follow up
* Lead collaborative project review meetings with ADMs and TSMs
* Assist in communication with architects/designers and other involved parties
* Apply product and application knowledge to help gain specifications
* Use both internal and external tools to assist with product selection, project mining and lead generation

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Experience with Salesforce Opportunities, Reporting, List Views, Tasks and Dashboards
* Experience translating data into actionable insights
* Confidence to lead trainings and collaborative meetings
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and familiarity with using web-based applications

What Will Put You Ahead
* Degree in Business, Technical Design, Architecture or Marketing
* Experience selling commercial goods as an inside sales or customer service representative
* Experience leading projects and driving solutions

For this role, we anticipate paying $60,000- $75,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
