Whether it's helping cure hunger, providing emergency housing, or overcoming poverty, The Waukesha Salvation Army does it all! Waukesha County annually serves 16,000 free, hot meals in their 3/evenings per week community meal program. Not only that, we also annually giveaway 50,000 loaves of bread from our free bread room, provide 5,000 meals to school families for the weekends and distribute 7,000 sack lunches to hungry families in our summer feeding program! If you want to be a part of organization that helps those in need, apply now! The Volunteer Coordinator coordinates volunteers with the various needs of each department. Keeps accurate records on all volunteer information, including processing of applications, as well as individual volunteer data and statistics. Coordinates the summer Feed the Kids program. About the role:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Certifications: Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with approval to drive from TSA's insurance Experience: Two years' related experience OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
