Job Objective: As the Audio/video Lighting Specialist you will set up, operate, maintain and repair AVL equipment used to produce church services, theater performances, concerts, recording sessions, conferences and events, such as mixing boards, microphones, video cameras, projectors, specialized lighting, computers and software. Knowledge of recording studio software and mixing is necessary. Video camera and lighting techniques is preferred, as is familiarity with video streaming, editing and software. Candidates must be self-motivated, creative and flexible with strong communication skills and the ability to interact with coworkers and volunteer teams, often under deadline pressure ensuring that the Mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out. What You Will Do:
Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position. Education: As a minimum, this position requires a high school diploma (or GED) Background Checks: Position requires a background check to be completed, and all background check results will be reviewed. Experience: At least 2years of hands-on AVL experience. Candidates with an associate degree, or higher, in Audio Visual Technology, or a related field, such as Digital Media are preferred. Credentialing, such as the Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification may also enhance job opportunities. Certifications: Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm within the first 30 days of employment.
