Senior Health Center

Summary:
Manage Food and Nutrition Services operations of Mid Coast Senior Health Center (42 licensed skilled nursing beds, 41 assisted living units and 17 apartments for people with memory loss) to ensure quality service, efficient operations, in compliance with current laws, regulations and organizational procedures. * * Communicates an Attitude of Respect and Excellence (C.A.R.E.), by following the C.A.R.E. standards at all times. * * Embodies the Culture of Safety. Adheres to all patient and staff safety policies and procedures. Reports all unsafe or potentially unsafe patient or staff conditions immediately.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Is a qualified dietitian; orIs a graduate of a dietetic technician program, approved by the American Dietetic Association; or is a graduate of the Dietary Managers Association approved course and has passed the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers credentialling exam; orIs a graduate of a State-approved course in food service supervision; or has training and experience in food service supervision and management in a military service, equivalent to the requirements in (b) or (c) above.
