Your Job

Molding Process Technicians are responsible for updating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing molding equipment. We create an environment that fosters learning and development to provide you with the necessary tools/skills to make a meaningful contribution to the facility while always prioritizing safety.

What You Will Do

o Perform programming of molding machines

o Maintain robot arms and work cell assembly stations equipment

o Change-out/purge and maintain material and central material feed systems as needed

o Troubleshoot mold problems, developing root cause and providing a quick permanent corrective action and/or complete minor repairs

o Coordinate mold set-up activities with production schedules to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiencies

o Assist in performing mold changes and set ups as required within scheduled mold change timeframes utilizing process and cycle sheets

o Troubleshoot molding process issues (flash, short-shots, sinks, splay, etc.)

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

o Minimum of 1 year experience in injection molding manufacturing

o Basic knowledge of hand/power tools

Physical Requirements

o Ability to stand or walk on concrete floor for 8+ hours; lift and/or move up to 50 lbs

o Requires hand, arm, back, and leg strength; Also bending and squatting ability

o Must have eye, foot, and hand coordination, and be able to do repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine motor manipulation

o Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures & perform work indoors / outdoors as needed

What Will Put You Ahead

o 1+ year(s) in a mold setup role

o 1+ year(s) experience in diagrams, blueprints, schematics, gauges and measuring instruments.

o 1+ year(s) experience troubleshooting mold problems, developing root cause and providing a quick permanent corrective action

o General computer skills (typing, Microsoft 365, etc.)
