Georgia-Pacific Consumer Operations is seeking interested entry-level professionals to be considered for our Industrial Electrical Internship supporting the Consumer Products Group Operations located in Muskogee, OK. Our manufacturing facility has a broad range of electrical applications from the upstream processes of power generation, pulping and paper operations to downstream converting, palletizing and use of highly automated systems. The shift for this position is 7:00 am - 3:00 pm includes weekends, holidays and overtime as needed. The pay for the position is $26.00 per hour. $2500 Sign on Bonus OUR TEAM Located on the Kerr-McClellan Navigational Channel (Arkansas River) on about 640 acres of land, the Muskogee consumer products operation spans across approximately 70 acres (or 2,900,000 square feet) of manufacturing and warehouse space are "under roof" employing approximately 730 employees. We are the second largest employer in the Muskogee, OK area and 45th in the state! Our non-union facility operates 24 hours, 7 days per week, 365 days per year; housing some of the largest tissue machines in the world and paper machines that produce an average of 700 tons of paper per day. Our finished product consists of a mix of 40% Retail and 60% Commercial. What You Will Do in Your Role * Provide electrical and instrumentation support to our manufacturing facility * Troubleshoot equipment * Learn electrical, industrial control, and motor/drive systems * Learn sensors, analytics and vision systems * Provide support to industrial robotics and automation * Process instrumentation * Work in an industrial environment * Learn and develop electrical technology * Perform work that includes but is not limited to climbing stairs and ladders, working at heights, and sitting, standing and kneeling for extended periods of time Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * One or more of the following: * Two (2) or more years of Electrical Apprenticeship * Enrolled or a graduate of an Electrical, Instrumentation and/or Engineering certificate * Certificate of an electrical workforce training program What Will Put You Ahead * Experience in electrical fundamentals * Experience in industrial safety At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
