The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist is responsible for cultivating a productive, sustainable, healthy, and accident free workplace by driving a culture of EHS Excellence that embraces EHS and sustainability principles, leading industry practices, and governing regulations. The ability to be a role model and influence employee awareness, engagement, and accountability is a critical requirement of this position. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS systems and initiatives to manage risk and drive continuous and sustainable improvement. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE * 5-7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment required. A preference would be given for previous Environmental Health and Safety experience * AA/AS degree in industrial safety or hygiene, public health or applicable field is preferred * Possession of OSHA 10 or OSHA 30-hour certification or must possess within 90 days of hire. * Possession of RCRA certification or must possess within 90 days of hire. * Possession of First Response CPR/First Aid certification or must possess within 90 days of hire. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDED AND/OR REQUIRED:
The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in California is between $66,560 - $90,000. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role. The base pay offered for the role may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are proud to offer competitive benefits in addition to competitive pay.
