Your responsibilities

Summary: The Sales Acquisition Analyst is responsible for analysis and reporting throughout the sales acquisition process including business case analysis, new project question, and existing project reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Business Case Analysis: work closely with the Sales Manager, Special Projects to build and analyze the business case for each incoming projects.
    • Cost Analysis: work closely with cross functional stakeholders to project accurate project, material, and product costs to use in business case creation.
    • RFQ Timeline Management: work closely with Sales Manager to maintain aggressive customer RFQ timelines and drive internal RFQ process.
    • Market Research: Analyze market conditions, trends, and competitors relevant to the project and gather data on customer needs to support the case.
    • Perform Risk Analysis: Identify potential risks associated with each option. Assess the likelihood and impact of each risk and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Prepare Financial Projections: work closely with finance and the sales manager to estimate the financial implications of the project, including costs, revenues, and profitability over time.
  • New Project Acquisition: assist in compiling data and creating presentations for new project acquisition.
    • WIRE: Follow the thyssenkrupp WIRE process for projects over the revenue threshold.
    • Reporting: Create project reports and dashboards to track project acquisition performance.
    • Contract Review: work closely with Sales Manager to create, review, and approve contract language and capture all direct and indirect costs.
  • Existing Project Review and Analysis
    • Cost Compliance: Periodically review and report on current project actual vs. quoted costs from plants.
    • Cost Optimization: Reviewing current Cost/Revenue management/optimization from Plant(s) and highlight areas for improvement.
    • Contract Compliance: Maintain project reports and dashboards to track and report customer compliance to the business award.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring that project updates, challenges, and achievements are effectively communicated.
  • Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace. Advocates for and promotes a safe work environment by reporting Near Misses and/or other safety and environmental hazards, wearing all required PPE and encouraging others to do the same.
  • Exercises independent judgement and discretion in connection with exercising job duties.
  • Exhibits integrity through fair and ethical behaviors in all activities; maintains accountability for performance.
  • Ensures compliance and safety of all activities within the organization standards and policies.
  • Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Your profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in project management, sales analysis, or a related role, preferably in manufacturing or automotive.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and manipulate large amounts of data
  • ERP experience, preferably SAP
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smart Sheet, Asana, Microsoft Project) and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SQL).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience working with manufacturing plants in Mexico and/or Spanish language experience a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint with the ability to create compelling presentations
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Demonstrated successful employment track record, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and a strong personal desire to maintain a safe working environment.
