Position Summary |
This is administrative and managerial work in Food Services. This person is responsible for directing and leading a food service team in providing for the food services needs of customers in all food venues at the Georgia Center which includes; catering, banquets, restaurant, bar, cafe and conference breaks, meal plan operations, and other tasks as assigned. Activities and decisions are varied in nature, involving the solving of both common and unusual problems. The food director supports the mission of the Georgia Center and will partner with Conference & Event planning, Sales, Marcom and Hotel to generate revenue for the Center. This person will be proactive in planning, improving services, programs, and processes, able to work with computers including various supportive technological tools for food & hospitality industry, and be a strong leader with excellent managerial skills. |

Skilled in managerial, time management, financial analysis, forecasting, Profit/Loss, basic marketing skills, basic accounting/budget skills, customer service. Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, delegate and follow-up. Ability to communicate effectively. |
