As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a talented Sales Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Sales Engineer will be responsible managing customer accounts and driving sales growth by identifying customer needs, providing technical solutions, and fostering strong client relationships. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and sales acumen to effectively communicate the value of DSI's products and services.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers across various industries.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and participate in strategic planning for market expansion.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale in alignment with company objectives.
  • Represent DSI at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
  • Provide customer feedback to internal teams for continuous product improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in high-voltage or electromechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with cable assemblies or insulation systems, and high voltage concepts
  • Experience in industries such as defense, energy, medical devices, or research institutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel (<10%)
