Responsibilities:

As a School Psychologist, you will:



  • Serve as a vital member of special education eligibility committees.
  • Administer and interpret psychological and educational tests for special education referrals and triennial assessments.
  • Communicate test results and recommendations to parents and school staff.
  • Provide expert consultation to school personnel, agency representatives, and parents on student mental health and behavioral concerns.
  • Develop and deliver training workshops for students, parents, school staff, and community members.
  • Participate in school-wide committees and task forces.



Qualifications:



  • Master's Degree in School Psychology or related field required.
  • Valid South Carolina teaching license with a School Psychologist endorsement (II or III).
  • High ethical and moral standards.
  • Ability to travel to multiple school locations if required for itinerant positions.
  • Skills and Competencies: Empathy and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of special education laws and procedures
  • Commitment to student well-being and academic success
