Summary:

The main function of a supply chain analyst is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to the production schedule. A typical supply chain analyst is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.

The supply chain management team is responsible for ensuring product availability to meet the forecasted demand of the sales subsidiary. Forecasts are generated via consensus calls with Sales Teams, Marketing Teams, and the Global Operations Center and tracked using spreadsheets, SAP, and Systems and Tools. The Supply Chain analyst is responsible for managing a specific range of products and will work closely with the other analysts while supporting strategic projects on behalf of the entire Supply Chain Team. The candidate will be responsible for generating reports for Executive Management, and representing the SCM Team when working with internal/external customers.

The Supply Chain Analyst will be the primary point of contact for all supply related issues for the associated product category at the Sales Subsidiary and will interact closely with all teams including Senior Management.

Responsibilities:



  • Examine documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformation to standards and specifications.
  • Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
  • Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.
  • Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.
  • AP2 Forecasting by Product.
  • Consensus Calls with Sales, Marketing, GOC.
  • PSI Planning & Simulations.
  • Order Management.
  • Inventory Management.
  • Product Allocation.
  • Aging Inventory.
  • Revenue Simulation/Tracking.
  • Report Generation.
  • KPI Management.



Requirements:



  • Bachelor in Supply Chain or Data Science; Masters Preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years related experience.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor, and materials.
  • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • High-level Excel skills and PPT proficiency.
  • Analytical and able to analyze large data quickly/efficiently.
  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • Able to analyze and utilize data in Modeling and forecasting.
  • Quick to learn (a candidate who can analyze and utilize data in smart and effective ways).
