Software Development Intern

Staffmark has partnered with a global manufacturer of lab equipment and supplies in search of a new Software Development Intern in Webster, TX. This internship is projected to last six months and is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and inclusive work environment while assisting with designing, developing, and deploying software solutions.

Pay: $15-$20 per hour

1st Shift Hours

Essential Functions:

• Assist in developing, testing, and debugging software applications.
• Collaborate with team members on project requirements and solutions.
• Contribute to maintaining high-quality code through reviews.
• Develop technical documentation for project deliverables.
• Work with APIs, databases, and frameworks to build scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or graduating with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field in 2024 or 2025.
• Proficiency in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#).
• Basic understanding of SDLC, algorithms, and data structures.
• Familiarity with Git and development environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
