Pipe Fitter

• Follow all shop safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to determine spool fabrication sequence.
• Measure, mark, cut, and prepare pipes using saws, torches, and benders.
• Use MIG and flux core welding to tack carbon steel components.
• Fit and assemble ANSI flanges, elbows, reducers, and other pipe fittings.
• Safely operate cranes, rigging devices, and grinding tools for preparation.
• Maintain a clean workspace, dispose of waste properly, and collaborate with the team.

• Requires more than 4 years of pipe fitting experience and/or demonstrated ability to perform basic skills according to testing requirements.
• Proficient in basic math including addition/subtraction of whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Proficient in reading a tape measure/ruler in increments of 1/16" or smaller and analog/digital level.
• Ability to calculate degrees and circumference using basic algebra and geometry.
• This role requires the use of MIG & Flux core welding processes.
