Requirements:



  • 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment
  • Experience with diesel engines & hydraulic/electronic systems
  • The ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
  • A valid driver's license



Position Details



  • Pay | $30 - $34 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Sign-on bonus opportunity of $2,000 (plus an additional $2,000 after 6 months and again after 1 year)
  • $2,500 performance bonus potential (quarterly)
  • Relocation assistance available
  • Schedule | Monday - Friday (8 AM - 5 PM)
  • Must be available to be on-call for 1 weekend per month



Heavy Equipment Mechanic Tasks

Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot heavy equipment such as forklifts, trucks, and wheel loaders. Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment. Identify and troubleshoot issues with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other electrical components. Accurately read and interpret schematics and service manuals. Use diagnostic software to manage repairs. Collaborate with the team. The ability to lift 75 pounds and steel-toes are also required.
