Soldering Technician

Pay: $17/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The Soldering Technician will upgrade and rework customer returns and production modules.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform soldering on PCBs and other parts for all assigned units according to written instructions and drawings. May be required to remove parts and re-solder onto units.
• Maintain inventory of components used in the upgrade and rework process.
• Ensure that equipment is upgraded within 48 hours.
• Comply with all established safety and ESD procedures while performing assignments.
• Maintain a clean work area according to department standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; soldering certification preferred.
• 2-3 years of electronics repair experience, including SMT soldering and handling/inspecting lead-free PCB assemblies.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and drawings.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Effective time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to sit, bend, and use soldering/microscope instruments for long periods.
• Good vision, color distinction, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
