Berkeley Lab is hiring a Student Education and Communications Assistant to join the Government and Community Relations (GCR) Office and K-12 Programs Team. This role supports STEM events for K-12 students and creates engaging content for K-12 education media. Responsibilities include writing copy, editing, developing content, and managing the K-12 website and social media. The position also involves supporting outreach events and workshops for high school students. The role reports to the Director of K-12 Programs, with part-time training in spring (20 hours per week), transitioning to full-time in summer. The position is expected to last at least one year, with potential for extension. What You Will Do:
