What you'll do:

As the newest optometrist on the team, you will provide comprehensive vision care to a diverse range of patients. You will see an average of 22 patients daily from Tuesday through Saturday, with hours from 9 AM to 6 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 8 AM to 5 PM on Friday, and from 8 AM to 1 PM on Saturday. A fully staffed team will handle pretesting and support you throughout the examinations, allowing for optimal time spent with each patient. You will also have access to advanced technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
