Overview

MTSI is seeking a Part-Time On-Call Receptionist in our Alexandria, VA office. This position is for daily mid-day coverage, minimum 3 hours (11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.), 15 hours per week with occasional ad-hoc full-day coverage and additional hours of support as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain professional and welcoming reception area for the MTSI Corporate Headquarters office.
  • Greet guests, in-process visitors, issue badges, and maintain visitor logs.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and email messages.
  • Receive and manage in and outgoing mail, packages and shipments.
  • Assist with planning and execution of meetings, work lunches, and events.
  • Order, manage, and maintain office & kitchen supplies and pantry items.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance with building manager
  • Occasionally develop memos, signs, and messages for distribution.
  • Provide additional administrative assistance to the office manager, employees, Security, and other operations and infrastructure teams as required.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate requires exceptional time management, punctuality, and dependability.
  • Candidate must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Candidate must possess basic computer and email management skills, including proficient experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Candidate should be capable of performing in a team environment, as well as independently without direct supervision.

Minimum Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma
