About the Role

Impact you will make

The ETL Developer will be responsible for the continued development of data integrations to support the corporate systems of FinThrive. The candidate will provide hands-on support and troubleshooting of the corporate-based systems, focusing on the Azure Data Factory Data Integration platform. Ideally, the individual in this position will also be experienced in administering and developing solutions in Talend Data Integration, comfortable with operations and support, working with a cross functional team and ensuring critical business and system processes are maintained.

What you will do



  • Be responsible for the documentation of all Azure Data Factory Data Integration jobs and processes
  • Maintain and enhance existing ETL jobs
  • Design, develop, validate, and deploy ETL processes with the Azure Data Factory Data Integration tools
  • Administer the Azure Data Factory Data environments, including fix packs, upgrades, and patching support
  • Systematically review existing processes with the vision to introducing new or improved processes that lead to increased efficiency and accuracy in reporting and data analysis; and develop and lead projects to improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of data management
  • Work productively with vendors and team members on solution design, issue resolution, quality assurance and hand-off to development
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests for operational reports, including generating complex queries and exports, and performing updates, enhancements, and fixes for existing systems
  • Effectively leverage keen troubleshooting skills to track job successes and remediate issues with data
  • Work with other teams within an organization such as Quality Assurance, Engagement Management, Operations and Support



What you will bring



  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related concentration or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ year(s) of software development, data integration development, with similar tools
  • 1+ year(s) experience in Azure Data Factory or similar
  • Proven experience in SQL Server Database Development and Database Administration
  • Deep knowledge of SSRS build/deliver and maintain
  • Experience with the following:


    • Azure Data Factory Data Integration
    • SQL Server 2016+
    • Webservices (SOAP/REST)
    • Integration Architecture Design Documentation and Maintenance


  • Experience coordinating vendor and internal teams to deliver projects and to effectively support the required data marts and integrations
  • Energetic, self-motivated aptitude with high productivity, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Highly developed people skills with a focus on mentoring and providing strong leadership to team members
  • Ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members, internal customers, high-level staff and external vendors, strong customer service orientation, good writing skills, ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences
